PERAN MEDIASI BURNOUT SYNDROME DAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI SERTA DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KINERJA PERAWAT DALAM PENERAPAN KESELAMATAN PASIEN

Abstract

Background: The existence of incident findings in patient safety in a hospital can be caused by burnout syndrome and the commitment of officers in carrying out their work. Purpose: Knowing the mediating role of burnout syndrome on organizational commitment and its impact on nurse performance in the application of patient safety management. Methods:  This study used a method survey with a questionnaire as the main research instrument. Samples were taken by total sampling technique in which respondents were all nurses/midwives who worked in Inpatient Installation B of Sanglah General Hospital, totaling 165 people. The analysis technique used is the structural equation model (SEM). Results: There is a relationship between Organizational Commitment to Burnout Syndrome. The estimated parameter for the relationship between the two variables is -0,930. Tests show significant results with CR = -6,914 that meet the requirements >1.96 with a probability = 0,000 that meet the test probability requirements are below 0.05. Conclusion: Burnout syndrome (Y1) can mediate positively and significantly on the indirect effect of organizational commitment (X) on the Performance of the Implementation of Patient Safety Management (Y2).
