Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Authors have read and fulfilled aspects written in Publications Ethics and Plagiarism Policy for all manuscripts to be published in Bali International Scientific Forum
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • Manuscript has been written according to journal's template and has followed the guidelines provided by BISF (it can be downloaded at the "Author Guidelines" menu.
  • Authors have deleted the authors' names and their affiliation in the text before the file is being uploaded (as part of Blind Review process).
  • All citations, references, web addresses (URL) in the reference list, tables, figures, and illustrations in the text has been formatted according to The Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (Author-date). Note: Please see Author Guidelines.
  • Abstract has been written in Indonesian language and English (or English only for manuscript written in English). These components must be included in the abstract: Background, Purpose, Method, Result, Conclusion.

Author Guidelines

You are expected to register on this website in order to submit the text through the Register button and follow the instructions along with the steps contained therein. This process will benefit authors because it facilitates authors to monitor the process of the manuscripts.

Manuscripts may still be able to be sent to our e-mail (bisf@iikmpbali.ac.id). However, we encourage every author to do the registration process above. Please note that BISF uses The Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (author-date) in citation, reference, table, figures, and illustration. This citation and referencing style is adapted from the popular known harvard system (author-date).

We expect authors to use Mendeley to help in writing and managing all citations and references. This will definitely help author's and editor's efficiency. On Mendeley, please use "The Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (Author-Date)" for the citation style. It is available at menu: View > Citation Style. If the style isn't available immediately, click "More Styles" then search for it at the search column of "Installed" tab and later finish it by clicking "Use this Style".

The manuscript is expected to contain no more than 7000 words (excluding abstracts, reference lists, and tables). Abstract's length is 250 words max. Articles must contain content in the form of abstracts, keywords, introductions, methods, results, discussions, conclusions, suggestions, reference lists, tables (if any), figures (if any), and declarations of the author.
